“It depends” is a frustrating answer to “What does IT support cost?” Here’s what matters. SupportMax offers different managed IT packages, priced mainly on your people, devices, and security needs. You can also add individual services à la carte, and most of our services include a free trial period. Separately billed items, like licenses and hardware, are listed in writing. Review the packages, then request a technology assessment.
What we hear
What buyers ask before choosing an IT provider
Fair questions. Here is how we answer them.
01
What am I actually paying for?
A clear list of what each package includes and what it does not.
02
Will the bill keep changing?
A monthly price tied to users and devices, with changes agreed before they happen.
03
Do I need everything?
No. Start with the package that fits today and add security as the business grows.
04
How do I compare quotes?
Compare scope, not just the number: help desk, onsite, security, backups, and what is extra.
1. Free assessment
We review your people, devices, network, Microsoft 365, backups, and security.
2. Package recommendation
We suggest the package that fits and explain what each option would add.
3. Written proposal
You get the scope, monthly price, onboarding steps, and what is billed separately, in writing.

Our approach
Why we quote instead of publishing one flat price
Two businesses with 20 people can need very different things: one has a single office and a few cloud apps, the other has servers, a second location, and client data that needs stronger protection. A flat price would either overcharge the first or leave gaps for the second. So we keep the packages standard and the price specific: the same packages for everyone, priced on your users and devices, with anything unusual written into the proposal. For a general look at what drives IT costs, read how much IT support should cost a small business. For security-only options, see cybersecurity services.

Questions
Managed IT services pricing: common questions
Have a question that isn't here? Call 310.331.8119 or schedule a free consultation.
How is managed IT priced?
Usually per user or per device each month. Your proposal states the exact basis, what is included, and what is billed separately.
Why don't you list prices on the website?
Because the right price depends on your users, devices, and security needs. We will not publish a number that does not fit your business; we give you a written quote instead.
Are hardware and Microsoft 365 licenses included?
Usually not. Computers, software, and licenses are discussed separately, and your proposal states whether each one is included.
Is there a setup or onboarding fee?
Onboarding is part of every new engagement. Whether it is billed separately, and how, is written into your proposal before you agree.
Is there a minimum contract or commitment?
Terms are set in your written proposal. Ask us about them during the assessment, and nothing starts until you agree.
Can we change packages later?
Yes. Many businesses start with Stability or Secure and add security as they grow. Changes are agreed in writing first.
