Signs
Signs your business has outgrown its systems
Nobody calls asking for an ERP. They say the reports take too long. These are the usual signs.
01
Reports take days
Month-end close drags, and someone has to export, copy and rebuild data before anyone can see the numbers.
02
Spreadsheets run the business
Inventory, purchasing, job costing or approvals live in shared spreadsheets and email threads.
03
Your systems don’t talk
The same customer, order or invoice gets typed into two or three different systems.
04
An old system is running out of time
QuickBooks Desktop, an older Sage system or Microsoft Dynamics GP still runs on a server. Microsoft ends GP support on December 31, 2029.

Client stories
What clients say about business systems work with SupportMax
Moving off Dynamics GP before end of support
“We’d been running Dynamics GP on an old server for years and kept putting off the move. SupportMax walked us through what end of support actually meant for us, then laid out the Business Central path in plain English — what data would come across, what we’d clean up first, what it would take. No drama, no rushed deadline. We migrated with time to spare and our team was trained before we switched over.”
Dana R. - Finance Director, wholesale distributor, West Los Angeles
Outgrowing QuickBooks with Dynamics 365 Business Central
“Month-end close was dragging because half our inventory and job costing lived in spreadsheets outside QuickBooks. SupportMax reviewed how finance and operations actually ran and recommended Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. They handled the setup, the data migration off QuickBooks and the training, and the reports we used to rebuild by hand every month now come straight out of Dynamics. They told us plainly what we needed and what we didn’t.”
Marcus T. - Operations Manager, professional services firm, Los Angeles
Rescuing a stalled Dynamics 365 rollout
“Our first Dynamics 365 implementation never really took — people went back to spreadsheets because the training was thin and the setup didn’t match how we worked. SupportMax reviewed what had been configured, found where adoption was stuck, and fixed it without starting over. They retrained our team and stayed on for support. Six months later, Dynamics 365 actually runs the business.”
Priya S. - Controller, manufacturing company, Westside Los Angeles

Questions
Dynamics 365 and Business Central: common questions
Have a question that isn't here? Call 310.331.8119 or schedule a free consultation.
What is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central?
It is Microsoft’s business management system for small and midsize companies. It brings finance, purchasing, inventory, sales, projects and reporting into one place, and runs in the cloud alongside Microsoft 365.
How do we know if we have outgrown QuickBooks?
Common signs are a slow month-end close, reports built by hand in spreadsheets, trouble managing more than one company, and inventory or job costing tracked outside your accounting system. One sign alone may be fine. Several together usually mean it is time to look.
What happens to Microsoft Dynamics GP?
Microsoft ends product support and tax updates for Dynamics GP on December 31, 2029, and security updates on April 30, 2031. Business Central is Microsoft’s recommended path, and Microsoft provides tools to move GP data across.
Do we have to replace our current system?
No. Sometimes the right answer is to fix what you have, add reporting with Power BI or automate a few steps with Power Automate. We will tell you plainly which option fits.
Can you help if a previous implementation did not go well?
Yes. We review what was set up, where adoption is stuck, and what training, fixes or changes would get it working for your team.
How much does a Dynamics 365 project cost?
It depends on how many users and companies you have, which areas you need, how much data moves over, and the integrations and training involved. After a short review, we give you a written scope and quote.
