Microsoft and Google keep their services running, but protecting your own data, from deleted files to compromised accounts and records you must keep, is shared with you. Built-in recycle bins and retention settings help, but they are not the same as an independent copy you can restore from. SupportMax keeps that separate copy in the cloud, tests restores, and can store it in immutable storage that cannot be changed or deleted, on request. Doesn't Microsoft already back up Microsoft 365?
Microsoft keeps the service running and offers some recovery tools, but protecting your data is a shared responsibility. A separate backup gives you an independent copy you control and can restore from.
