Replace your VPN with app-by-app access
SASE VPN Replacement for Los Angeles Businesses
A traditional VPN gives remote users broad access to your network. SupportMax replaces it with zero trust access: verified users on approved devices reach only the apps they need. We assess your current remote access, roll out in phases, add web and cloud protection for remote staff, and manage it all afterward.
What changes
1
Access to specific apps, not the whole network
2
Verified users and devices

Traditional VPN access can be broader than a person actually needs. A zero-trust approach asks a better question: should this verified user, on this device, access this specific application right now? SASE and ZTNA can support that more focused model, but the design must fit the business, its systems, and the way employees actually work. Review our VPN replacement guide, then schedule a conversation about secure remote access for your team.
Signs
Signs you've outgrown your VPN
If any of these sound familiar, it's worth looking at zero trust access.
01
Everyone gets the whole network
Once connected, a VPN user can often reach far more than their job requires.
02
Contractors need access too
Giving outside contractors VPN access means trusting their devices with your network.
03
Your apps moved to the cloud
Much of your work now happens in cloud apps that a VPN was never designed around.
04
Remote staff struggle with it
Connections drop, people stay logged in all day, or staff look for ways around it.

Honest limits
Will SASE replace every VPN?
Usually not entirely, at least not at first. Remote-access VPNs for staff are the main target. Some older applications, or connections between offices, may still need a tunnel for a while. We tell you what can move now, what should wait, and why, and we don't promise speed or security results that depend on your setup.

Questions
SASE VPN replacement: common questions
Have a question that isn't here? Call 310.331.8119 or schedule a free consultation.
Does SASE replace every VPN?
Not always. Remote-access VPNs for staff are usually the first to go, but some older applications or office-to-office connections may still need a tunnel for a while.
What is the difference between SASE, SSE, and ZTNA?
ZTNA (zero trust network access) gives users access to specific apps instead of the whole network. SSE (security service edge) adds web and cloud protection. SASE combines those security services with networking.
Can older applications be supported?
Often, yes. Some older applications need extra work or may stay on a tunnel for a while. We test before switching anyone over.
How are devices checked?
Access policies can require that the user is verified and the device meets the security rules we set with you.
Can the move be phased?
Yes. We move users and apps in phases, testing as we go, so your team is not switched over all at once.
Do we have to be a managed IT client?
No. VPN replacement is available to clients and non-clients, including businesses with another IT provider.
